I personally think that is WAY too much for some crappy MCR songs. Are these off of their new album? I dont' care for MCR at all so I wouldn't know.

I just think that MCR is desperate for some promotion so they begged to get some more song on GH2. I say lame!

Oh, god. I wanted there to be new GH2 DLC content as soon as DLC was announced. I mean, please something new, not just recycled GH1 songs...but My Chemical Romance? Ehh... I never thought I'd rather have more GH1 songs, but I would. This is so depressing.

I personally don't think this pack is too unreasonable. For the price, it's 3 master tracks, 3 original charts, combined in a logical bundling strategy.

Sure, the choice of bands may or may not strike people's fancy, but this seems like a step in the right direction. Not that it matters when they sweep GH2 under the rug next month to promote GEE HAYCH THREE!!!

I agree. I think this is the natural progression of DLC for the GH series (And possibly Rock Band). Themed packs are great. You either like the band or don't. Makes it an easy decision instead of GH1 songs where lots of people liked one but not the other 2. If you like MCR, this seems like the perfect pack at a reasonable price.

I really hate MCR (though Teenagers is a guilty pleasure) but I like the way they did this. These prices arent too bad considering they are new songs.

And now my sister is going to kill me for selling my 360 GH2 (as she is the biggest MCR nut on the planet)

I think its a little funny they decided to release new DLC for GH II all of a sudden. I would think any DLC they would possibly have would go straight to GH III from now on. It seems like a bit of a waste to me. And the price is still rediculous.

"Teenagers" is a great song, but I don't know the others. I'll probably give them a listen before I decide whether to download this or not.

* Songs are all pretty easy to five star.

* Some fun/clever note sequences or solos in every song.

* Worth picking up for the die hard GH nuts.

I dont think I like these as much as Dead! but they were all good in their own right. None of them struck me as cheap/shoddy/half-assed.

I am curious to see if 500k achievement is possible on this pack, seems like it could be with the right star power usage.

You know I hate these pussies but would have honestly tried it but the preview trailer bored me to tears. Just riff after riff like Dead which did the same. And the vocalist sucks.

That being said I hate My Chemical Romance and their vocalist but need new GH songs. Is it worth for me? Is it as repititious as the trailer claims?

I don't really care for MCR, but I bought the songs. Famous Last Words is as repititious as the trailer shows, but I found the other two fairly entertaining - the trailer definitely made the pack seem very boring (it's nice that they put one up though). On the bad side, the only song I didn't 5* on expert during the first attempt was Teenagers. But I got it on the second attempt since I knew what to expect. I don't regret buying it one bit. The price is still more than I'd like, but it doesn't feel like such a rip off when it's the only way the songs are available. Bundling one band together is a good idea - makes the purchase decision easier. Megadeth pack, please?

Saying you don't like a band, and calling them crappy are two different things.

If you said I dont like a band because thats not a style that appeals to me, or I dont like the singer because he sounds weak or the drummer is never in time then fair enough. At least you have stated why. There are plenty of bands who I do not listen to, that are mentioned frequently on here, even then I can appreciate that perhaps they are still talented in some way, its just that they are not my thing.

What I dont do is everytime these bands names are mentioned is make pointless posts with no backup to what was said. Flippant comments with no reasoning or justification are pointless.

DLC - I am not happy with the price still, from what I can see MS Points are cheaper in the US, so again we get ripped of in the UK. But my biggest 'gripe' if you will is the amount of songs vs the cost of the game.

Let me explain, you get 40 songs and the game for say £40. So ignoring the game cost you got the songs for a £1 each. So why then does it cost £5 to download 3 songs?

I mean if you subtracted the cost of the game you could argue that the value of the songs on the original game DVD are around 50pence each.

You are right, they will always only please a percentage of people with each download release, and on this occasion its only MCR fans who will really benefit.

When GH2 was due for release on the XB360 it was said that all the GH1 songs would be available, and thus far the number of DL songs has been very very poor.
