Curious what Grateful Dead songs people would like, if any, as they seem to be a little-mentioned band around here. My personal favorite would be Saint Stephen. For nostalgia reasons I'd also like Uncle John's Band or Dire Wolf--very little in the way of drums for Dire Wolf, but even though the instrument I'm most interested in is the drums I'd still be very happy if it were in.
Anybody else?

Well, I find it curious that the five songs announced are the first five songs from the latest incarnation of The Very Best of the Grateful Dead. This leads me to speculate that since all songs are master tracks and that The Dead did not have very many high quality studio albums (most were live or live/studio hybrids) that your eighteen songs will probably look something like this: Songs in bold-italic have already been announced.
1. Truckin'
2. Touch Of Grey
3. Sugar Magnolia
4. Casey Jones
5. Uncle John's Band
6. Friend Of The Devil
7. Franklin's Tower
8. Estimated Prophet
9. Eyes Of The World
10. Box Of Rain
11. U.S. Blues
12. The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion)
13. One More Saturday Night
14. Fire On The Mountain
15. The Music Never Stopped
16. Hell In A Bucket
17. Ripple
There are only seventeen songs on the disc so the eighteenth could be something great but I also suspect it will be...
18. Terrapin Station?
I personally would love to see Goin' Down the Road Feelin' Bad, Stella Blue, I Know You Rider or of course DARK STAR! But I think it will be something studioish.

I'm not sure if this will be in line with popular opinion, but I wouldn't mind playing Shakedown Street.
