Zing!
:D
That was amusing.
I don't really consider it a screeching noise, more of a clinking.
And I'm assuming it will make some sorta noise, clinking or otherwise.

I'm pretty sure the noise will still be there. And besides, it's just incentive for you to play better :P

If someone in the know doesn't tell us soon, someone who plays it at PAX will let us know for sure.

You can turn that horrid sound off in guitar hero. Under audio options its the third and last from the top of the screen just turn that all the way down. Everybody i know loves this after i show them. How do none of you know about it.

I, in fact, do know about that and play with them off. That still doesn't affect whether it will come with them default though, which is what this topic is about.

I hate the screech but when its off I never know when I've messed up so I prefer it on just makes me play better.

I always thought of it as a clink, that kinda says "you suck, go learn to play."

That sound only becomes a problem when I play Jordan. Any other song and I only hear it maybe 4 times, so it could be a fart sound for all I care.

Its pretty realistic though. Sounds like what happens when you dont press the string all the way down and don't allow for a harmonic....
