If Rock Band 2 eventually comes out

and it has say..... a keyboard or some other peripheral how will the DLC be transferable? I mean wouldn't they have to code in the new instrument or will those songs just be only playable for those instruments. If this has been asked before feel free to delete this or close this or whatever.

thats why I REALLY hope it doesn't come out. Well not that I hope it doesn't come but just that I hope my DLC will transfer. I mean, I don't know how I could justify buying RB2 with so much money wrapped up in RB1. I'm not one for swapping disks anytime I feel like playing a particular song

The keyboard issue was addressed by HMXsean on Rockgamer.com. As for DLC, they full intend on implementing it into a new Rock Band SHOULD they make one.
