Question on hold on credit card

Do you have to have the $125 in your account before you can do a return? My friend is being stupid and wont do it so he is making me. However i dont have 125 in my account so can i still do it if i return everything in time.

if you want to do the express return, then yes. you will need the $125 available to be held so you can keep your guitar (or drums or whatever) while they send you a new one.
otherwise you can do the normal return. theyll send you an empty box, you send your busted gear to them, they send you a fixed one. no holds on your monies.
