Yeah, I'd like some bands along those lines. Not sure how well Death Cab would work in the game but I haven't listened to a whole lot of their stuff. Franz Ferdinand and Modest Mouse would be a lot of fun though.

I'd totally be up for an Indie pack and would love to get the songs you picked.
I've got a few favorites that I'd like to see as well in addition.
Ted Leo and The Pharmacists - Me and Mia

I would love to see The Shins on Rock band.
Some 'So Says I' or 'Austrailia' would be fun songs.
We looked like Giants is too long, and not enough rocking after the lyrics are done.
But 'The sound of settling' might be a cool song by Deathcab.

Not my video, just one I came accross. There's no video for We looked Like Giants, so I took what I could find on Youtube.
And I agree with you too Victory, I'd love to see The Shins added and both of those songs would be great. I'd like to see "When I Goosestep" and "Carring is Creepy" as well.

YES! I had totally forgotten about those guys, thanks for bringing them up. That would be a GREAT song for Rock Band.

I posted this over on another message board. I would buy this pack ten times over.
Indie Rock Pack 01
Minus the Bear - Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dllO08Wkx1o)
Les Savy Fav - The Sweat Descends (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KGlkSO10-M)
Walt Mink - Stood Up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbnmxDSjifI)
Ignore the videos that go along with the first two. Listen to me and you'll agree.
The studio Walt Mink track is amazing - live version doesn't give it justice for a first time listen. The live drummer is a different one, and the studio version is more comlpex and would be more challenging.

I am a fan of Company Calls.
It has a strong beat, good constant guitar, and good lyrics.

I would add Built to Spill - Goin' against your mind somewhere in there.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-fZHQZTqRk for a clean audio but ignore the video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBnaV_jRqlo for clean video but for those who don't like live recorded audio check the first.
Cursive - Staying alive (can't find a good video) but they played that as a finale to their show when I saw them and there couldn't have been a better ending to such an amazingly fun show. (there might be too many breaks of playing in this song to satisfy the mainstream rockbander but it's still a good song. :P)
So many good songs but it's late and that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
