360 Guitar Hero owners have been complaining about the downloadable content since the game launched...so what do they do? They release three songs from the first emo ****** band they could get their hands on and price it at the same overpriced 500 points! WTF? I bought all the previous packs, but this is a definite step backwards in my opinion.

hopefully rock band doesn't pull this kind of crap...of course with rock band, if they provide as much content as they are planning to, you'll be able to pick and choose what content you want...with GH2 they release stuff so infrequently that when they release something, you feel ticked off if its not something you want because you know it's all they are going to give you for at least a month.

your sig is pretty terrible.

anyways, take it or leave it. you don't like the prices, don't buy them. it's simple.

Yeah, but they've also been buying it. Red Octane has made it clear that they'd rather listen to their customer's money than their opinions.

Hey the MCR songs are fun to play and isnt that all that really matters?

It's not like GH2... which HMX created... had all great songs.

A) Use the Edit button next time.

B) There are two threads about this in General where it belongs.

C) Worf PWNSZ!

Too me it feels like they have given up on the downloads for GH2 since rock band is close to releasing. It was sortof a gimmick to have people buy it thank god I didnt. Rock Band IMHO will be alot better with the downloads.

Thanks for all your replys, I know this probably belongs in general, but it says general is "probably not very rock" and this is "rock" so I was conflicted...anyway Worf DOES Pwn, my signature IS awesome, and I take back the whole point of my thread...I bought the MCR track pack and it's actually pretty fun...not as emo as I thought...I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT IF I DIDN'T LIKE DEAD! Dead! is a fun song to play..although all these MCR songs are just giant chord trains.

You're lucky for 3 reasons.

1. You have 360.
2. You have the pack
3. You have early RB.

I have to wait for Wii. I envy you.

1. I'm pretty sure Activision is largely in control of the prices
2. My Chemical Romance is not actually emo

No, they are much worse than Emo, they are what I like to call "wanna-bemo". They are targeted at 10-14 year olds, usually females craving acceptance within their peer groups.

Wanna-bemo music can of course lead to listeners moving on to better bands of a similar genre and slowly, over time moving onto awesome music and denying the days they ever listened to that crap.
