Okay, since I'm still yet to invest in an Xbox 360, I was wondering, should I get the Xbox 360 "Pro" (white, wireless, 20GB) or the Halo 3 Limited Edition Xbox 360 (green/orange, wireless, 20GB + Play & Charge kit)?
The regular 360 is now "only" $350, whereas the limited edition is $400, but comes with a Play & Charge kit and a whole lot of extras that are Halo 3 specific (which I'd like leave unused).
I know you might say "The regular one is $50 cheaper, duh." but then again, the LE is green. And limited edition. Kinda cool, right?
Edit: Side-by-side comparison (with pictures! Ooh! Aah!)

I hate the coulour of the Halo one, but the features could be cool and you will need the play and charge anyways.
GO ahead and buy the better one.

Go for the Halo one,it'll probably be more reliable and save you a lot of trouble later.

For $50 more you can get an elite (120GB HDD), but you're really only paying $30 more for the Halo system over the Pro (the charge kit is $20 and you'll need it unless you want to buy a bunch of AA batteries or the quick charge kit). So if you really like Halo and like the green, go for the Halo system.

I'd wait two months when the premium has HDMI.

The Halo Edition has HDMI support, where as the Pro doesn't. If thats a big deal, then I would get the Halo Ed.
I also agree with Sushi, the color is kinda crappy. Thats only my opinion though.
I would rather get an Elite (if I didn't already own a fudgeing 360!!) and get one of those sweet Halo 3 controllers designed by Todd McFarlane (Spawn). Those look fricken sweet.

The new white ones are coming with HDMI. No need to get the Elite or Halo one

HDMI doesn't really matter to me, at all.
I just think it'd be pretty kick-arse to have a green/orange 360. I really have never sprung for any of the limited edition or special consoles or handhelds before, and this will be my biggest purchase for quite a while, so why not go big?
Thanks for all the feedback!

I too am looking into buying a 360, I personally would get the Halo Edition if it came with Halo 3, why it doesn't is beyond me. I think I'm just going to end up getting a normal one for $350, maybe even cheaper if I can find a store that has a special.

If I were in the market for a 360 right now (had one since launch), I'd probably need information about the manufacture date. The Elites are nice, but the Halo machine will definitely have the 65nm chip in it. If you get a machine, you should try to get one that was manufactured in or after July. They all (supposedly) have been switched to the 65nm chip after that date, which will cut down on heat, which is the big complaint.
For me, I'd have to go with functionality, so if the Elite is an option, and you can be sure it's post-July, go that way.
For you, I'd imagine you already know which one you want, and you should just go with that one. They'll all play the games you want, and in the long run, $30.00 isn't going to hurt that much.

Get the Elite if you can, or if you wanna save some cash, get the premium bundle and hook it up w/ a replacement case. Then it will really feel like it is yours.

and then there's more goodies at Talismoon ("http://www.talismoon.com/cgi-bin/multipage/engine.pl?function=viewcat&cat=XBOX360) . If you already have the case off of it, I recommend the whisper fan.
