Drums just cut off?

Hey guys/gals,

I know there's a TON of threads about drums, but I couldn't find one where the whole thing just shuts off. My wife and I were jamming, got done, and I was adding a new shirt to my dude when all of a sudden it said to reconnect the controller. The guitar was still on.

I restarted my console, plugged the drums straight into my 360 and they still wouldn't turn on. I can hit the little circular X on/off switch and it'll light up, but turn off again.

I've tried every combo of plugging in and they still won't stay on. Guitar works fine.

I take it I need an RMA on the warranty page? I was hoping someone on here would mention something dumb I didn't do that'll magically turn the set back on. Pretty impressive after only 3 days of play...
