I think having Rockband feature Slipknot songs on their game would be an awesome decision. Loud energetic music would be such an adrenaline boost and would make you just want to tear your place apart after screaming out one of their songs.

Some Slipknot songs I would like to see:
Duality
Spit It Out
Before I Forget
Eyeless

What does everyone else think?

I think it would be pushing it, considering youd be putting the work and sound from a 9 member band into a 4 instrument game.

I'm a huge fan of guitar hero 1+2. However, there are some songs which where just horrible to play..
Example - Yes we Can - Made in mexico Or Red lottery - Megasus.
Slipknot are liked by a lot of fans. I personally do not like them, its music that's really hard to get into, and playing a slipknot song online? There so many instruments being bashed really loudly and quickly. Constant mistakes will happen and make the song sound even worse lol

Slipknot are terrible. I would not be playing their song if it did happen to make it onto this game.

There are very few songs I can think of that would be do-able. MAYBE The Blister Exists. But...Still, really hard. And I wouldn't want to force vocalists in the game to scream. Might kill their throat.

I'm just imagining trying to pull off the drums for it.... you'd prolly need to fuse 2 of the harmonix drum kits together and play them both at once

I like Slipknot, they don't suck. If you don't like 'em, that's your choice. But don't go slamming other peoples choices in music. Granted I utterly despise the whole emo thing goin' on now, I won't say to someone, "Hey, this band/that band sucks, and you suck for likin' them." People have their own tastes in music. Live with it.

lol, im surprised that this many people are saying yes.

slipknot is pretty underated, alotta people say that they are just mindles filth that cant pick a genre but really thats where the genius lies.
they have a bit of everything and have changed alot over their three albums (as most bands do) and their really starting to hone their sound.
before they were just a fast nu-metal band that had a horror gore-fest twist to em.
now their really starting to come outta the shell, getting more and more technical with their music and their lyrics are actually starting to have meaning.
i love all three of their albums (i dont count M.F.K.R because it was an demo, and 9.0 live was just that, a live album), and think that each of the albums have their own distinct sound, but their all good.
people complain that the whole thing of 9 members makes the music hectic, when its really not, wich only adds to their credibility. im sorry but i think that any bad that can take 9 seperate members and still hold form and melody like they do and execute it with percision and power like they do, then im sorry but thats at least half talent.
now i will say this, rock-band material they are not, they just arnt suitable for the game.
there is no double bass (and last time i checked, joey jordison used 3 basses i think), theres only one guitarist in rock band (slipknot has two), and the vocals are very strenuous, further taking them out of the running.
as much as i like this band, and as special of place it has in my heart (this was the band that got me into metal, this was the first "heavy" band that i listened to and actually gave me a chance, it was my portal), i still have to go with no. not for this game.

If you'd have any Slipknot you'd have to take a song where the singer don't need to scream that much. Like, for example, Vermillion could work.
