360 play and charge kits

has anyone tested to see if they are specific to the color of controller you have? Will the white ones charge the black controllers and will the black ones charge the white controllers? I've heard of some people saying that you have to use identical colors for them to work but i wanted to ask on here to see what everyone says.

I don't own a 360, but I would think if the only difference is the color then it shouldn't matter.

ok thanks for confirming it for me because there are a bunch of idiots going around to websites giving reviews on them saying that you have to buy the specific ones and i thought that sounded pretty stupid

This just shows what a nice, friendly community we have at these forums. If id have asked that question at the GH forum i would have been instantly flamed. :)
More on topic: My m8 has a white P & P charger and uses it on both his black and his white joypads so you wouldnt have a problem :)

yeah you're probably right. i half expected to get flamed for it even on here but you gotta make sure of something before you buy it so i decided i'd just see what everyone on here thought. I dont waste my time with morons that think theyre cool cause they can be tough on an internet forum anyways so it wouldnt bother me if it happened :P
