Rock Band Achievements?

I've been thinking about what the achievements would look like recently and have gotten really excited. I'm sure some are going to be similar to Guitar Hero's, several for each instrument and whatnot, but what do you guys think (or are hoping for)? Once xbox360achievements.org posts the achievements I'll post them here for all to see, but if anyone catches even a glimpse of what they're going to look like, post them here! ROCK ON!! :cool:

DanT posted a blog including a short paragraph about achievements for the 360.
He said "Xbox 360 Achievements - We hear you. For any achievements that are based on beating a difficulty level, we'll retroactively award you the achievements for all lower difficulties. So, if you beat the Drum Solo Tour on Expert, we'll give you the achievements for Hard, Medium and Easy too."

I think that is pretty cool, that way you don't have to waste time if you are a skilled video game guitarist, you can jump right into expert and still gain easy-hard achievements retroactively!

I assume most other achievements will be pretty obvious. Some will be for scores you get individually and with a band. playing different instruments and completing certain tasks with them. As we learn more about the game I'm sure more achievements will be easier to think of.

Yea you'll get all the same achievements, with some extras now that you can sing and play drums.

Ok, I have to ask - What the heck are acheivements? I mean, I saw that they were a list of goals on-line that GHII had, but is this an XBox thing or just a Guitar Hero thing? I played the PS2 GH games, and don't own an XBox, and with the few I've played I've never seen anything about acheivements.

Xbox thing. Its a really addictive points thing, but I never got really into it. Really fun to unlock them though!

Ill be super happy if one of the Acheievements is "Beat the Radiohead song" :P

i don't mind achievements but the only thing i hate is when people rent/buy ****ty games just for achievements. i saw my friend playing superman returns and he was basically advertising it to me so that i can get a quick 1000 points. SEE WUT ACHIEVEMENTS DO TO PEOPLE???? they force u to play sr and extreme volleyball >:|

Every Xbox 360 game has a list of "Achievements" (Achievements are worth a certain amount of points, usually depending on difficulty). I'm an achievement-whore, sometimes I buy certain games JUST for the achievements, to add to my Gamerscore. I have a 17k+ gamerscore right now, which is OK, nowhere near some other people's scores, but anyways...Achievements are just to motivate you, to let you know you did something right. I recommend before you start an Xbox 360 game, look at the achievements first, so you'll know what your goals are for the game. Just a thought.

The achievements threads have been done to death, but I'm gonna add my own anyways:

-Axe Master: Complete guitar solo campaign on Expert
-Karaoke King: Complete vocals solo campaign on Expert
-Titan of the Tom-Toms: Complete drums solo campagin on Expert
-I've Seen a Million Faces and Rocked 'Em All: Complete band campaign on Expert with 4-person band
-Been There, Rocked That: Successfully perform a jam session in every song on Expert
-Woke the Dead: Everyone in a 4-person band gives a 5 star-performance on Expert
-Hit the Road, Jack: Participated in 5 offline/online bands
-It's a Long Way to the Top...: Complete every song on every instrument on every difficulty
-Trading the Bus in for a Private Jet: Earn $1,000,000 across all game modes
-Global Rock God: Perform at every venue
-Time to Play B-Sides...: Complete every bonus song on every instrument on Expert
-In the Zone: Every one in a 4-person band has a maximum multiplier on Expert

Sex Pistols - Skip an award reception cutscene/message.

P.S. If the name Gene Simmons Dosen't workout... then just change it to Rock God.
