I'm going to be honest it really doesn't look anything like him, at least I don't think so. I wonder if any other artists are going to contribute their faces to Guitar Hero.

Goddamn Ace! Obviously you didn't read anything in this thread. Its about the character in GHIII, and yes I'm referring to Bret Michaels. IN THE GAME, he looks like what I previously stated. In real life less so, more of a washed up has been. Believe that, beeootch!

Notice that the Poison frontman, has a cover track, but the Bret Michaels Band has an original track? I wonder if they couldn't get the Poison Master track, or if it just wouldn't work? I don't remember the song very well, but I think it doesn't end with a fade...

If there was one gimmick that RO has done so far that I consider completely pointless, it's this Bret Michaels ploy.

Yeah it looks really crappy. They dressed him like he dresses now, but gave him his 80's physique... And to top it off, the mapping of his face is pretty poor.

However, we should be glad they didn't go with Metallica, because they're jerks...
Or Nickelback, because Chad Kroeger's really ugly.

Ugh. In game advertising that has NOTHING to do with the subject matter. I hope to god EA isn't able to slip in the Burger King as a playable character in RB! Or an AXE themed guitar!

Only one I know of would be the Pontiac Silverdome, which is a ball field. It's possible it's from a real venue, but still interesting they're going for in-game advertising.

And if you are pissed about the in-game advertisment, when you watch baseball, what do you see on the border of the stadium? Same for football. And how else do you think they'll be able to pay for a Metallica song? They probably got a Zep and AC/DC song too.

Pontiac is the name of the city. It was made before Corporations owned stadiums.

And it's not a football stadium anymore, but more of a RV show/Gun And Knife show/Drive-In movie Theater.

And there was no overt Pontiac/GM advertising anywhere. This looks like pure ad infiltration on part of activision.

They held warped tour in the parking lot a few years ago.
