Urge Overkill - Rockin' Alternative

Since I got some positive responses to me other thread about Swervedriver, I thought I'd mention another great alternative band that doesn't get much attention. Urge Overkill. I found some cool older UO vids from the 90s I though you all would like to see.

They have other songs that would be great for this game such as "Bottle Of Fur", "The Candidate", "Emmaline", "Ticket To LA", "Need Some Air" and basically the entirety of "Saturation", "Exit The Dragon" and "Supersonic Storybook" albums would be awesome for Rock Band.

I hadn't heard of the band so thanks for the heads up. They seem pretty decent, wouldn't mind at all if they were included in the game.

The whole Saturation CD is fantastic....sucks that my disc is scratched so bad that I can't encode it!!

I actually somehow have two copies and only one case for that album. You can buy it pretty cheap on amazon.

UO would fit this kind of game really well, and their best albums are on Geffen so it wouldn't be too hard to license them.

Agreed. Saturation and Supersonic Storybook are classics of guitar rock in my opinion.

Never liked the song "Bottle of Fur," though. Would rather hear "Positive Bleeding" or "Sister Havana" from that album.
