If this thread exists already I apologize, but I was curious about you guys and girls...
How many of you have Myspace pages? I don't have one, and I don't really know a lot about it. I get the gist, but I've not had a lot of desire to look at that site.
What draws you to it?
If you'd like to share your Myspace page, and especially if you have a band with a Myspace page, I'd like to see it. I'm kind of getting into the Indie-Rock Scene.
Honestly, I got into a lot of this stuff because some friends of mine are in a band called Teays Vein that's on Myspace. I'd post the link, but the lack of understanding of Myspace, coupled with my at-work restrictions, do not allow me to do so.
So, if anybody wants to share their own brand of Rock on this forum, I think we should share online resources about our own bands.
Now all I need is a band... and a Myspace page.

I have a myspace profile, mainly because I enjoy photographing local bands.
Have a peep :)

I mainly have a myspace page because of my cousins(we are quite a few) they talked me into making one, to stay in touch(since we live in different cities) and share all kinds of stuff photos, videos, vacation plans, birthdays...etc.... and its worked out great. Other than that I don't have much use for it. I mean I don't go in there to meet people or to make friends...am I a bad person???

The big draw for me is keeping up with classmates from school. I've moved away from that area and lost touch with all of them. Classmates.com charges like $30 a year, this site is free and almost everyone is on it, so it works out pretty well.

Yea, keeps me in touch with all my friends from school, also an easy way to get a hold of people if you don't know their number.

There is multiple threads. And I know you apologized already. But did you even use the search function? I took less than one minute and found multiple threads. This one here (http://www.rockband.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=1759&highlight=MYSPACE) being the best. Seriously, all it takes is a short amount of time. Probably the same amount it took you to start this thread. PLEASE USE THE SEARCH!

I've got a MySpace, and I've had it for quite some time now. My friend made me do it a few years back when MySpace was "new." It was really lame for the first fews weeks that I'd consistantly use it, so I gave up on it. Then a year and a half later, MySpace was huge and I already had one, whoopdee do. If you're looking for networking, get a FaceBook, if you're looking for customization, get a MySpace.

Facebook isn't that great.. I know way more people with MySpaces and I've found people I haven't talked to in forever on it. It's great.

Here's what confuses me about MySpace... If you wanted to talk to these people badly enough, why does it take randomly reuniting on a webpage to bring that relationship back? Don't you feel like it's just nostalgia that ignites that whole setting?
