PS 2 problem

Just bought Rock Band for the PS2 and it will not read the disc, it says disc reading error, I returned it for another one and it still will not read it. All other PS 2 games work fine. Any ideas.

Known issue with some PS2 systems. Check this thread (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30403). Remember, search is your friend. I looked up PS2 disc error & found a bunch of relevant threads, but this one probably has the best info.

I have the 50001 model and i opened the case blew it out with an air sprayer, put it back together and ran the diagonsis with a disc that I knew worked. I then put Rockband back in and it worked.
