I bought a Xbox 360 Core (because i didnt have the money for a premium) and i was wondering which do you think takes priority and/or is more important, a hard drive or a wireless online adaptor (i cant get a wired connection, my 360 is upstairs and the computer is downstairs, and my parents wont let me drill a hole in the ceiling :P)? I need the hard drive because the 64mb memory card is absolutely **** but i dont wanna wait till Christmas just playing single player all the time after school.
Help me please! :(

I would suggest getting the hard drive. You can always do a wired connection, but if you have no hard drive you can't get any DLC

You need both to really get the most out of your 360
An XBOX without a HDD = No DLC/XBLA
An XBOX without Internet = No Live
To answer your question though, I'd get the wireless first if you have live. At least you can play multiplayer...but I wonder, if the game has updates, can you play them without a HDD? Interesting...

The hard drive is much more important. I understand that you can't have your 360 constantly connected to the Internet through an ethernet wire, however I'm sure it's possible to move your 360 downstairs to a television that's closer to your computer. The ethernet cable that comes with the 360 is fairly long, and I move my system all the time. Also, before you go buying a wireless adapter, I hope your family has a wireless router, or that overpriced hunk of plastic won't do you any good. Additionally, you need an Xbox Live subscription to play online. If you're strapped for cash, you're probably better off buying the hard drive, purchasing the occasional downloadable content by moving your Xbox downstairs every once in a while, and playing with a couple of friends in person.

Solution: Buy the hard drive and move the xbox upstairs so it can be wired.

Get an HDD first to enjoy the games then go cheap, save $20, and get the original Xbox adapter not the 360 one.
But if you already blew money on Live...uhhh...get a REALLY long Ethernet cord. Seriously. It can be done.

Thanks for your input guys :) I decided i'd go with the hard drive first and set up ICS with my laptop and use an ethernet cable from that to my 360 which is a few cms away :P
