I believe the controllers are region coded as well. Especially if they're wireless.

My guess. Not official or even an educated guess. Just a general guess.

I say wait until Leipzig.

Harmonix hasn't made any official stance.

Uh, controllers aren't region coded for ANY system, I don't see how these would be different.

I'm not sure what the Microsoft stance is on wireless controllers, i know that you wouldn't have problems with the PS3 wireless controllers as blue-tooth is a worldwide standard so they would work perfectly fine.

Apparently GH3 wireless controller is the only approved first party wireless controller. Maybe they are going with it with GH3 because of product name. I understand why they wouldn't for rock band if that was the reason, but it still doesn't make me happy :(

Wait, if controllers aren't coded (and I'm guessing we include systems in that category), why do my Asian PS2 and GameCube systems declare my American controllers unreadable?

exactly, there is no difference between a PAL controller or an NTSC one. They should both work the same.

no idea they should work.. the only difference would be that the confirm and cancel buttons are reversed eg for the PS2 in Asia O is confirm and X is cancel.. other than that they are the same.
