so maybe someone who works in retail can answer this, but I'm starting to see e-tailers advertising the Rock Band Special Edition/Bundle...and the weight listed is 20 lbs...like mentioned in that article the other week with the "mole"
the e-tailers also list the dimensions (which wasn't mentioned by the "mole" article)
31.5in x 15.8in x 11.4in (smaller than i imagined)

i mean ok, we all know we should wait to hear for official announcements, and it's just another internet guess, but how would anyone make up specific dimensions like that? does that mean the distributors (EA in this case) provides retailers with information in advance, and if so, do they get the release date information at the same time, as well as price?

circuit city is the latest big chain to list rock band for preorder, following the same price $199, and same date 11/20. the websites are also listing the UPC#s for disc only, bundles, 360, and ps3 versions. so someone from EA has to provide those to retailers as well right?

so with that all said, doesn't it seem like what we've been speculating for weeks now will end up being accurate?

and of course when harmonix blows us away with their latest announcement (hopefully at PAX next week) all of this info will be all wrong :p

thoughts?

Due to the fact that it's street dated for 11/20, I'd say that is the release date, retailers do put in placeholder dates, but they don't place hold street dates.

i also forgot to bring up the fact that everyone is using the same long box art photo. im sure major sites would not use an unlicensed image so that also must have been supplied by EA.

Could be shipping date so we could be seeing the release date being 11/21

Interesting point about the 6th and the 20th being on Tuesdays...so really, it could be either one? I'm guessing more toward the 20th, however.
