I Want Rb To Be Delayed

(For the record here, I get £30 a month pocket money, what with me being 14 years old, plus im bored of Gears of War Rainbow Six and some other games so trade in can be done, but here goes)

I hear Rock Band may be rushed for a Europe December release. No thank you!! I own a Wii and 360 and I'm quaking in my boots over having enough money/trade ins for a couple of games when i want many.

E.G. Bioshock... (the demo didnt impress me at first, but on reflection, it wasnt a game, it was art)
Halo 3 (I've already cancelled my Legendary Edition pre order...)
Super Paper Mario (still not out over here)
Smash Bros Brawl
Fable 2 (hopefully it'll slip).

plus there's the "minor neccesities" e.g. Metroid 3, PGR4.

Anyone else in my dilemma... where you actually wanna be able to afford the whole pack and not have to settle for one instrument only to lose money in the long term.

I just want the game. And I want it rather sooner than later.

But what I really hope is that Europe gets it at almost the same time as the US. I don't want to wait longer when the game is actually somewhere else. I don't want to see HMX already releasing loads of DLC when the game isn't even out where I live.
Yeah, delay the US version if you have to, but bring the game out worldwide at the (almost) exact date. That's what I would like. I don't care about a week or two, but not months later!!

I can't understand how anyonw would want to wait any longer for such a game like Rockband. If you don't have the money, then buy it later. Or buy it first and buy the other games later.

Rock Band isn't going to be rushed.. They're almost done with the game.. I'm sure Harmonix wouldn't release a game that's unfinished or rushed.

And, for the other games.. I would like to get them.. but as long as I have Rock Band, I don't even care. I'll probably get others for Christmas/birthday anyway.

I'm going to get Guitar Hero 3 on release. I'm going to get Rock Band for Christmas. Time to save money. :) I doubt that Harmonix will release one of the most hyped games on the internet as a sloppy, rushed mess. Have faith in those who have never let us down before. :)

quit spending your money on all those minor games, sell all that you have, then get rock band, it's not that hard if you want it bad enough.

it'll be worth it. think about it, most games end. once you beat them that's it. rock band will have new music coming to download, plus when you have friends over, even though you may have mastered the game, it will be a totally new experience with each different group of people you play with.

it'll be worth it to buy all the stuff.

i have a friend who didn't care much for GH, but he is interested in playing the drums.

Just like i'm not much into karaoke revolution, but since singing is in RB, i'm going to do that as well. it'll also be fun to play the guitar and sing at the same time, i'm looking forward to that challenge !

bioshock and halo 3 are gonna be good games but if i were you i'd make sure i always keep enough money saved to buy rockband and then while youre waiting if you get the money for one of the others then pick it up.

I actually feel the complete opposite, I would love for Rock Band to come out tomorrow, and I think most people feel that way. I haven't heard much about UK releases, it has been speculated that it wouldn't be out until next year, I think that makes sense. Wouldn't that be enough of a delay for you to get it.

Also why do you need to buy it the day it comes out? Wait until you have money and then buy it, there is no shame in buying a game you want when you can.

A few suggestions:

* Sell / trade some of your old games

* Re-examine your "necessities" and future purchase list - can you play some at a friends' house? borrow them? rent them?

* Do you need some of these titles the absolute moment they are released? A game like Halo 3 will be popular for years to come, delaying the purchase for a few months isn't game breaker.

* Bioshock is single player only, meaning people will bore of it eventually, meaning you can get a cheap used copy by waiting.

Yes, I used the term "need" loosely. Of course. It is in retrospect. If people could just buy thousands of games, they would not class as "need", but someone who can buy one every month can use the term "need" loosely.

I do not need to re-evaluate my priorities. Bioshock is top of the "Videogames" list, but videogames fall way down from, what am I eating tonight, when should I do this work etc.

And you know, how can I be selfish for just "wanting" it to happen? Its not gonna, HMX themselves say they're near the finish line, and EA will need to get a Christmas release for maximum profit. I want the world to be a peaceful, right-wing free, communist haven, but guess what, it ain't gonna happen.

Cores are £200, £20 short of a Wii. Plus, if you're american (I guess, you're thick like that) there's been the price drop, so you could have been paitent...) Why not have hold onto PS2 for a while... thats what my mate did, and now when the 360 Price Drop hits the UK he's diving in.

For me, the Wii is a complimentry console. It can't stand up on its own two feet as a console on its own, unless you're a very casual gamer, but leaning on a PS3 or 360 its a nice little console, and after a 5 hour megathon on Gears of War, its nice to go back to Zelda.

Actually, we get fewer vacations and holidays. We also tend to work more overtime. It's just a different work ethic between America and Europe: we work more time, you guys work more rested. Honestly, I kinda like the European system.

And what's wrong with a paper route? I worked a paper route when I was your age and that got me most of my spending money. My generalisations is cos I'm very anti-American. Call it the atom bomb, everytime they completely forget WW1, everytime they say "WITHOUT US YOU'D BE SPEAKING GERMAN", and the fact that they're the capitalist centre of the world. But, I do apologise for those few Americans who aren't fat, republican, stupid or lazy.

Rather annoyed, you lot in the USA have Bioshock 3 days before... ah well, I can finish Gears of War before I trade it in with the extra time.

Well, I've budgeted my money to get what I want. I need to buy myself a 360, Halo 3, Madden, Forza 2, and Rock Band. Turns out I have enough money for them, and maybe a few other games. My method for buying games usually involves spending the least for games that will last the longest. Even a $50 RPG is cheap when you get 100+ hours out of it ($0.50/hour isn't bad).

Yeah, America gets the least amount of days off, because in Britain we have tons of bank holidays.

At 14, I'm not gonna attempt to get a job. Why? Because, legally, I can't (things like paperboy doesn't count as a proper job under the law though, but I don't have a bike). In Britain, you must be 15 to get a job, and there's no minimum wage on that either, so I won't work til I'm 16.

Oh and yeah, I didn't count that vote turnout in America is terrible so... the majority of voters are thick for voting republican, is my correction.

The reason people keep saying "YOURE A TROLL" is because YOU ARE A TROLL. You make wildly general statements with absolutely no proof, many times they are completely untrue. You don't know what you're talking about half the time but you open your mouth and have an opinion on it anyways. Have you ever been to the USA? How many Americans do you know? Any?

All right we could have dealt with Japan in more of a civil manner, but they did not have to attack Pearl Harbor either. Not to mention the fact that we warned Japan that if they didn't surrender or stop the attacking we would drop the A Bomb so their government is just as much to blame as the American Government if not more to blame.

As far as you not liking Americans that say without us you would be speaking German, well I could also say with out England we in America could also be speaking German.
