Haha, that wasn't a boycott. That was a rebellion. You know, Boycott means to purposely not buy a certain product so that company loses money. Sure, Rosa Parks made a rebellion and changed the world, but she didn't boycott a single thing...;)

i ****in love halo..cant wait for halo 3..it is an action shooter..but i just recently started watching cutscenes and reading the book, the story and backstory are...mindblowing..how MC became the LAST spartan..very sad..he watched two of his fellow spartans die..one had their oxygen shot out while in space...and another one stayed behind to blow up a covenant ship..the rest all died with the fall of reach, a military stronghold

A boycott is the act of voluntarily abstaining from using, buying, or dealing with someone or some other organization as an expression of protest.

Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott, 1955-1956

On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks (the "mother of the Civil Rights Movement") refused to get up out of her seat on a public bus to make room for a white passenger. Parks was arrested, tried, and convicted for disorderly conduct and violating a local ordinance. After word of this incident reached the black community, 50 African-American leaders gathered and organized the Montgomery Bus Boycott to protest the segregation of blacks and whites on public buses. The boycott lasted for 381 days until the local ordinance segregating African-Americans and whites on public buses was lifted. 90% of African Americans in Montgomery took part in the boycotts, which reduced bus revenue by 60%.
