oh my god. I just need to rant, so admins if you need/want to delete this, go ahead, i just want to rant :P All my friends have gone to bed by now, so I have no one to ***** to.
I'm at work right now, work the 6pm to 6am at a computer outsourcing company (not what you're thinking, we just manage servers, mainframes etc for other companies and no we're not in India). Now, I've only been at this job since the first week in april. I've been forced to work with this guy who started a week after me, but he knows absolutely nothing about the job. I've always prided myself with the fact i can catch onto any job fairly fast, and this one is no exception, but this guy I'm working with this week (someone left, so i'm working overtime to pick up the slack cuz i need money), oh my god, i have never met someone so completely brain dead at a job. He's ****in up the job, our boss knows it and for some reason he's still here. My boss is even asking ME to send him a list of all the **** ups he does. yesterday was 5, today is 3 and we're not halfway through the night yet. Argh.
Ok i'm done, i could keep going, but that would be fruitless. Words cannot describe the stupidity of this guy.
I'm tired of being this 40+ year old guy's babysitter, ****. Atleast this is all overtime. LOL.

Wow sounds exactly like my work problems. Granted im a receiver at superstore same difference. Theres this one guy in his late 30's who works after me, I work 7pm-12am he works 12am to 7am but he is the laziest person I've met. He calls in like 15 minuets after he's supposed to show up and tells me he's sick and wont be coming in, which is basically "screw you take my shift" and the managers wont fire him even though he takes a month off just cause he hurt his ankle
I know how you feel its quite annoying

oh jeez, luckily we dont have any of that going on, they've made it quite clear that you're expected to show up at work unless you call in sick 2 hours before your shift or are in the hospital :P

In the many many jobs I have worked... there is ALWAYS a person there where you really have to wonder on whether or not they have some serious law breaking.. jail time.. losing everything they have news about the boss.
There is just no other explanation on how they still have their job.

I think it's far worse when the person knows what they're doing but decides they aren't going to do it until the boss shows up...

Oooh good point, but we work nights so we see our boss for 2 mins as he's walking out the door and we're coming in. LOL.

lol that seems advantageous.
My boss is my uncle... and my co-workers are my family and my ex-girlfriend... every day is a joyous occasion.
