What songs would you guys like to put into the game that would be very fun and interesting for bass players?

One that comes to my mind are Journey to the End of the East Bay by Rancid, although many other rancid songs also very heavy on the base side. Another good one I can see in Manthem by the Bouncing Souls. But as you can tell, I am more on the punk rock side, so tell me what other songs have a great bass.

Stuff done by Primus, Rush, Metallica (pre-Black), Red Hot Chili Peppers all have terrific non repetitive and interesting bass lines.

Geddy Lee is awesome on the bass so why would you type ex rush? La Villa Strangiato on the bass would be very fun.

How about Mr. Bungle - Girls of Porn?

Rancid's Maxwell Murder is awesome for bass, but a bit short for Rock Band (even shorter than Wave of Mutilation). Red Hot Chili Peppers' Turn It Again off of Stadium Arcadium is also pretty cool sounding, as is Death Of A Martian from the same album. Any RHCP funk stuff is great as well.

Also, CAKE has a lot of great basslines (I Will Survive comes to mind), but then, do they have anything that ISN'T great?

Primus- Bob's party time would be great for everyone, especially the bass.
I also agree, Mr. Bungle for RB!
More Faith No More would work too.
Any funk would go in well too, considering we have NONE!
