Some old but cool news

Remember back when Rock Band was first announced, and they named 5 bands that were "likely to appear in Rock Band?" They were: Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, Joan Jett, The Allman Brothers Band, and Wolfmother.

QOTSA and Nirvana are in the game, but the other three haven't been mentioned since then. I know this is old, but at least it's something to hold us over until PAX. Also, to those who say that the guitar sounds like it will be easy on all the songs, I present you this:

I own MLB 07 The Show and this song is on it. If this song was in Rock Band it would drive me crazy since MLB has about, oh 5 songs on it or so. I've heard enough of that song to last me the rest of my life.

No, I don't remember that. Who is "they" and do you have a link?

It was the first thing I ever read about Rock Band. I'll try to find a link if I can. It basically just said you can play with drums, mic, bass, and guitar, that it was from the makers of GH, and named those bands. It came out in really early April/late March, and I thought it was an April Fool's Day joke.

I read it wrong. They were talking about bands that were already in GH. I also got QOTSA and Kansas mixed up somehow. Could someone lock this?

No, I bought it for my PS2 and I bought a PS3 about 6 weeks ago and I don't have custom soundtracks on it. So I have to listen to the songs on it unless i decide to use my mute button.
