Although I personally don't like the band, I will warn you as the other person above me has said that people have a severe problem with the idea that some of the DLC may actually be what SOMEONE else likes. Selfishness definitely covers these forums.

LoL, I didn't know it was possible not to like Green Day? ... To be honest around me, I’ve never heard "I don't like Green Day" Ever. Just people that don't listen to them. In fact nearly every one I’ve played RB with has requested Green Day and just to give you an idea of how many people that is, I’ve brought RB in to my school for a week and we played for about an hour a day and attracted quite a crowd.

I am a huge Green Day fan and would love to see them in Rock Band. What I don't understand is that everytime someone suggests a song or band people who hate that band feel for some reason they have trash the band and the person who posted.

yea alot of people like to do that i posted a song list the other day and most of them were "emo" songs and i got like 10 replys saing they suck go listen to better music like umm ok ahahaha yea green day would be good but alot of ppl dont like that kind of music but just cause they dont i dont see y they have to trash a band or some one who likes that band i got trashed cause i like my chemical romance and fall out boy i was just like umm ok then u pick the songs then they were good songs too and i didnt get 1 reply saying that they were good songs and i had alot and it was a lil mixed too like not all emo so i get what you guys are saying. wat i do is if i dont like the bands I DONT EVEN READ THE FOURM i dont feel the need to open it just to trash it

My wife only likes the old Green Day..."Dookie"-era. I prefer those but can tolerate their newer stuff. I think songs like "Basket Case" and "When I Come Around" would be great for Rock Band.

To be fair, it's not that everyone hates them. Only a few people do, but they're the ones that scream their opinion the loudest. There are thousands of people on this forums, and only 10-20 are vocal about their dislike. Most people just aren't saying anything on the matter.
