Freefall http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gcagz8epRN8

Great progressive rock music, which means you likely won't ever see it released as DLC. The money calls the shots, not Harmonix, and this doesn't scream "BUY ME" like modern thrash does... which is a shame.

Mirage album for DLC.

as much as I love Mirage (and its probably their 2nd most accessible album) I would love to have I Can See Your House From Here as a full album before Mirage (esp. b/c of the beautiful instrumental "Ice")

So would Mirage and I Can See Your House From Here be good starting points for someone who wants to start listening to them? (cause I do)

Mirage and The Snow Goose are the most easily accessible, I Can See Your House From Here would be good after you dive into one of those albums though

Lol~ I see why The Snow Goose is the most accessible~ it's all instrumental.

Once I get my computer back I can check out Mirage and some of their other albums

Lady Fantasy - Encounter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=301yJNLt8kM
I just noticed that you do not have the full song in the OP.

Now that we have an 11 minute song, I don't think it would be much of a stretch to get the entire 12-13 minute version.

I just started listening to Camel, and they're incredible. It would be amazing if Rock Band got any songs from them. Especially any songs from the first few albums.

"Lady Fantasy (http://www.rhapsody.com/camel/echoes-the-retrospective-1972-1992/lady-fantasy-medley-encounter-smiles-for-you-lady-fantasy)" is one of my most wanted Prog Rock songs for RB.

I NEED that song in the game.

I contacted them so I hope they respond!
Hopefully they do. Keep us posted!

Camel came up one time randomly when I was listening to a last.fm station, and I tried to make a mental "this band is awesome, remember them" note. Then, of course, I promptly forgot about it within a half hour. So thanks for starting this thread to remind me!

Nothing yet I presume...

I'm still frequently sending HMX lengthy requests for Lady Fantasy (http://www.lala.com/popup/432627052144404874)~

There's just so much awesomeness packed into that song :D

Can I have both Lady Fantasy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8d6u9QzjUo) and Freefall (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gcagz8epRN8) now please? That would be just splendid.

Keyboards in the game means "Lady Fantasy" would be even more awesome to play on all instruments.

Oh boy, that KEYBOARD SOLO (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlwJCQmQnDQ#t=0m40s)!!! :D
