Ive got about 30 songs + the OXM pack and I've preferred my DLC list for quite some time, and none of the songs that I'm dying for are in yet. Thinking of this helps me not gripe about bad weeks of DLC.

considering you pick the songs you download, i would say yes. that being said, i've only downloaded 10 or so songs, so it hasn't replaced the originals for me.

i think i like the DLC better...gimme 3 steps and fortunate son are both alot of fun...and the oasis 3 pack really pushed it over the edge

I much prefer playing my DLC (I have 31 songs) than the original game songs, especially when I am online.
For one, they are songs that I chose to get so I know I really like them all. The original game songs include many I like, some I am just okay with and others that I dislike.
Secondly, I have played the majority of the original songs so many times that I am getting a tad sick of them, even the ones I like.
(I am also really looking forward to Simple Man).

Well considering the games that came with RB were spoon fed to me and I got to pick all my DLC...it's a pretty easy decision. lol

I have all 120 tracks now, and I have to say that the DLC is really nice, and I play it way more, but it would be lacking if it were what came on the game disc. Since there have been so many one-band three-packs, the DLC often features two or three songs by each band. Hell, we'll have five Police DLC songs once Message in a Bottle comes out. I really like the "one band per game" rule for the disc songs, but I love the three packs in DLC, so I'm not sure it's quite comaring apples to apples. However, once a couple more months have gone by, there will be no cometition just because of sheer numbers. I think having this steady DLC schedule has made Rock Band easily my favorite game of all time.

It's a tie. I really enjoy some of the original songs!

It has started to get to the point where when me and my wife play we usually just do quick play now. Then we can choose more of the downloaded songs and not just wait for the pick your own set list and random set lists to come up.
