regardless of how people may disdain fred durst, and before people hate, remember, rock band is an MTV game..
their music would be fun to play, especially with other people- great instrumentation(the guitar strums are sick), plus the songs are well known that people cant sing along...and having some more rap/rock in rockband is always great as it keeps it eclectic which is one of the great things about this game
these songs would be great

Limp Bizkit would be fantastic, there was one song off of "3 dollar bill" about how he wanted a pepsi... good tune
I'd like to see atleast one Limp Bizkit song...

I'd gor for Limp Bizkit. A lot of people hate this group because they hate Fred Durst (as do I), but the instrumentation was actually pretty cool, and wes borland is one of THE most underrated guitarists in my opinion. Rollin' would be cool.

Id download some LimpBiz!
frostywolf
04-17-2008, 06:23 PM
I'd love to see some Limp Bizkit. I'd proably download anything by them due to the slim chances of anything by them being offered up for download, but some of the songs I'd want the most would be stuff like "It'll Be OK", "Boiler", "Pollution", "My Generation", "My Way", perhaps "Break Stuff" (though the guitars would probably be ridiculously boring), "Re-Arranged" (though I'd have the same complaints about "Break Stuff"). But most of all, I'd like to see this song.
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0UdQ8Hu4-XE&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0UdQ8Hu4-XE&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Anyway, great band. I'd probably buy it more for the drums & bass than for anthing else - Sam Rivers and John Otto are easily the most underrated members of the band, and probably of nu-metal in general.

Rollin would the be crappiest LB choice out of a bunch of crappy LB songs.
Anything from 3DBY would be acceptable for RB, however.

I agree. 3 Dollar Bill is easily the best Rap-Metal CD ever produced. Its heavy, its angry, and Fred hadnt tried to be an actual rapper yet. Awesome album.
As far as ANY song after 3 dollar Bill. Gross.

These are the songs that i would pick personally, although unfortunately because HMX is afraid to add any songs that contain language, alot of these probably wont make it.
Break Stuff (Alot of language, but awesome song.)
Rollin (again, language)
My Way (this one could make it cause its mild in language)
Behind Blue Eyes (better than the who version)
Hotdog (Doubt it cause he says F*** about 50 something times in the song)
Helicon
07-29-2008, 07:31 AM
Behind Blue Eyes (better than the who version)

Ok, then, take harmonix's credit down the drain even more. This is all Emp-tv's fault, whenever a game is created by them, it's a letdown as it goes along.

When Limp Bizkit came out with Behind Blue Eyes off the album Results May Vary. It completly Smoked The Whos version. Plus I wouldn't mind seeing some songs off that album. Hell, if they'll put crap like Brass in Pocket on there, then Fred should get a shot too.

I've wanted Limp Bizkit for ages, but I heard something about a Durst/MTV bust up a while ago. But Harmonix/MTV would benifit greatly releasing some Limp Bizkit tracks. Perhaps, Rollin', My Way, Take Alook Around, My Generation, Boiler, Red Light-Green Light, Eat You Alive, Break Stuff, Nookie and a few others. Also, from that era why not some Linkin Park? This band would have the same effect as Limp Bizkit in generating mass downloads.

Nickelback's old stuff was good to listen to. It's when they became "RADIO ROCKSTARS" is when they went down hill. As for 311, They are prefect for rockband. Why don't you turn off your Blink 182 cd and listen to some 311 and realize.

I would love to see some Limp Bizkit DLC; after all, Rock Band is toted as a "party game", and L.B. has some songs that would be great for people, even if you hate Fred, the band itself is actually quite talented (Wes Boreland on Guitar, Sam Rivers on Bass, John Otto on Drums, DJ Lethal on Turntables).

Don't get me wrong. I agree... I wasn't bigging up Fred Durst in the slightest, only commenting on how Wes is worse and was contantly thorwing hissy fits as to why he can't make his own music. His albums sales have told us why he wasn't aloud to. He Sucks. Just like Fred.

i would love to hear more widely popular groups like Limp Bizkit. A lot of us who play this game aren't rock fans, I'm personally into hip-hop/rap, so I'm only familiar with some of the pop-ish billboard top 100 rock. I have become a fan of a lot of songs because of this game and Madden though.

Limp Bizkit would be amazing to see on Rock Band. Especially songs like:
Boiler
Break Stuff
Nookie
9 Teen 90 Nine
Trust?
Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)
Take A Look Around
My Way
And looking at your name, Johnny, I would love, and I mean LOVE to see Hollywood Undead in Rock Band. When I saw Young was part of the twenty free downloads, I couldn't wait to get it. I would like to see songs like:
Undead
Sell Your Soul
City
Paradise Lost
Awkward, isn't it, that both of our names are from Hollywood Undead?

So where is The LB? The one, the only... LIMP BIZKIT! Seriously! You know that like everyone on the forum would be bouncing around their living room with a little "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)." "Nooke," "Break Stuff," "Counterfiet," "Stuck," "Pollution," "Sour," "My Way," and "Eat You Alive." I will so go on record as saying I would download any of their full albums. I don't even care. Back in the day everyone was bumping The LB. I remember when I was a kid I got to meet them at a signing like before "Faith" blew up and I just thought they were cool guys.

There are actually a lot of Limp Bizkit songs that would interest me playing in RB. Coming from most of their albums too (except 3 Dollar Bill Y'All as I haven't heard much of it). Their bass, guitar & drums are all quite interesting & 'singing' Fred Durst will be massively a laughfest when doing it among a group of friends XD. I'd be fine for any these songs:
Chocolate Starfish & Hot Dog Flavoured Water:
My Way
Livin' It Up
The One
Take A Look Around
Boiler
Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)
My Generation
Results May Vary:
Eat You Alive
Build A Bridge
Let Me Down
Lonely World
Creamer (Radio Is Dead)
Significant Other:
Just Like This
Nookie
Break Stuff (Despite it being heavily censored XD)
Re-Arranged
Nobody Like You
Don't Go Off Wandering
Although it'll take a long time to get some Bizkit on RB, I'll be OK if ANY of these songs become playable

A 3 Pack:
"My Way or the Highway"
"Rolling" (or "Faith")

i would love to hear more widely popular groups like Limp Bizkit.
Full album, now. Not a single. OK, Harmonix. We'll negotiate to a minimum of a 3 pack.
It is a party game. I haven't met the crowd yet that would want to play "Hammer Smashed Face" over LB.

It's pretty sad that Limp Bizkit finally shows up on RB and it's just "Build A Bridge". I bought it anyway just to support them in the game but that's a lame track. I played it once and that was it. Hopefully more will be coming soon.

I would like to have "Re-Arranged (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WDiNZU33MA)" and "Boiler (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4nkedQz0SE)" in the game.

Actually, they have a song from CSHDFW called "It'll Be Ok" that would be a friggin' blast to play on RB.

yeah I'd buy anything Limp Bizkit and already have with Build a Bridge. I'd get jacked up if anything from Significant Other was released, or Chocolate Starfish.

I would want to see this, seeing Build A Bridge isn't exactly the first Limp Bizkit song I would buy but it's the only one we have.
Nookie
Rollin'
My Way
Break Stuff

If they can somehow get the rights to their cover of "Faith", that'll be one of my few LB requests.

well, I find that the most interesting cover in RB is the (as made famous by) Cover of "Hard To Handle" since they cite the "Black Crows" version which is a cover of an "Otis Redding" song... though I'll give you that the BC version is somewhat better... but it's still a cover of a cover.

YES LIMP BIZKIT DLC!
I had a feeling. Two weeks in a row of awesome dlc for me. All we need is some Korn dlc next week and I'm done. It's nice to see HMX doesn't totally forget about the late 90's rap rock.
The song choices were expected. I mean, who honestly hasn't heard about the "Nookie"?
"Break Stuff" is awesome but it's sucks when it's censored. Would've preferred "Rollin" over "My Way". "Eat You Alive" is cool too.
Damn shame we didn't get anything off their first album. Hell "Faith" is a cover but it's so damn good. Even some of the rap-rock haterz like "Counterfeit".

We need "Walking Away" and "Nobody Loves Me". Maybe "Head for the Barricade" since the drumming would be fun for that.
