Here's the problem I'm having with a lot of the DLC songs (and the requests on this forum): they're either not very well known or very hard to sing (e.g. metal especially when you have female singers). We have to skip a lot of songs and set lists because the singer can't participate if they aren't familiar with the song.

So, while I see a lot of requests for songs that I like, I think they would make poor choices for Rock Band because of the reasons mentioned above. Here's some songs that I think would be good DLC picks, and they aren't necessarily my favorites, but they're recognizable and easier to sing.

Heart: Barracuda, Love Alive, Never
Fleetwood Mac: Gypsy, Gold Dust Woman, Dreams
The Guess Who: These Eyes, No Time, Undun
The Doors: Spanish Caravan, Strange Days, LA Woman
Three Dog Night: Old Fashioned Love Song, Shambala, Never Been to Spain
Jethro Tull: Locomotive Breath, Hymn 43, Aqualung
Violent Femmes: Blister in the Sun
Tears for Fears: Break it Down

The only songs I know on there are the Tull songs and The Doors songs.

I would kill to have all three of those Jethro Tull songs on the game. You chose my 3 favorites.

Look them up on youtube, I guarantee you've heard them all before. The problem I run into is that the median age of the people I play with is at least 26. No one is familiar with bands that weren't around in the mid 90s or earlier.

Edit: the particular songs I'd like aren't important. I just want to push for songs that are known by a broader audience.
