consider this though.

there are 4 periphreals for this game and on the PS2 only two ports to put them in.

also consider, allmost noone has or uses a multi-tap.

save the money and get a 360.

if your gonna buy a console to play one game, and its available for either one, logic would have you go for the lower of the two (especially when the periphreals are rumored to cost more than a Wii does)

i think ill stick with Sony cuz my PS2 sucks and is not in very good working condition...so if i still want to play my PS2 games...logic would lead me into buying a PS3.

a ps2 right about now is selling for about 130

a 360 premium sells for 400

that leaves 70 dollars extra for guitar and game for the 360, and if you need a wee extra just trade in some of your ps2 games that you dont like.


trust me on this: buying a new system because it plays old games is counter-intuitive, especially when you can buy a new 360 and new ps2 for less than a new ps3.

that and considering the sales numbers on that sucker dropped by 83% since it released, i have my doubts that its gonna be a stable system in the long run.
