Is Rockband Coming out for Wii?

I have heard that it is, I have heard that it is not. I would really like to get this game for the Wii. As we all know Guitar Hero 3 is going to release on the Wii, so I don't see why this game would not, however Wikipedia says only Xbox 360 and Plastation 3. Other places say the Wii will have it. Could someone confirm this? Otherwise I'm going to have to buy an Xbox 360 and this game just to be able to play it. :eek:

The short answer is - we are putting out Rock Band for PS3 and Xbox 360 for Holiday 2007, but are looking into the Wii in the future.

that article mentions that apparently it is, but they're thinking much later than the PS3 and 360 release, or it wont have full online funtionality.... It's all rumours though, so don't go getting your hopes up (or down?) just yet.

Man I feel sorry for the guys making this game. Making it for the PS3 is gonna be hard from what I heard. I think 10 games got canceled because the PS3 has all the amazing stuff that people who makes games can't afford to make games for the PS3 standards. Umm, yeah that's got nothing to do with the game coming to the Wii.... I watched that video and there's a lot of crap in there. Some stuff about the graphics card were true (which sucks) but if you believe all that then your a bit too gullable.

Once again, not asking for a console war here.
