Australian RELEASE DATE PLEASE!

Hope all you yanks are still enjoying your rock band experience. So now it's been over 3 months since you've all been rocking out and the such, but us poor aussies are still stuck here just imagining what its like. And better yet, it's been released that you have a release date for individual peripheral purchase (drums, guitars) and we still don't even have a solid release date for the actual game.

I know it's not your fault, but surely by now there should be enough stock to send some over to our poor third world country? We don't ask for much, just a few. The amount of stock that our whole country would need, would probably be the same amount of stock you would send to say maybe NY. So i don't see what the big deal is to send over a few 20,000 copies or so?

This has already been covered in many other threads - but if you're looking for speculation, PalGN has it listed for May 28th, as does EzyGames & Harvey Norman (as of last week).

EB Games has it listed for a blanket period of "June", Games Warehouse has it listed as "TBA", as do Target, Big W & JB Hi-Fi.

The most common consensus is that at the very least, a European release date will be announced at the Play Live event taking place at Wembley Stadium the weekend after next - the Australian date would likely be within plus or minus 1 month of that, going on the track record of "GH" games.

Don't bother asking the Harmonix guys for a date - until they're prepared to announce it, you won't get anything other than a "We're working on it", or "No news at the moment".
