X360 Quick Question

See my friend owns a X360 and he recently bought Guitar Hero 2 and its been working fine since he got it but recently his X360 has scratched the hell out of the outer part of the disc for some reason now he can't even get past the 5th Bracket, any idea or fix for this ?

dont know about a fix for it but that sounds like the console got moved or kicked or osmething while he was playing. itsn ever happened to me but apparently if you move it while youre playing it'll put a nice big scratch on the outside.

I know why it happened. Most likely his Xbox is vertical, am I correct? Well, there is an ongoing problem with 360's that when you place it vertically, it scratches the HELL out of discs. I dont know why, but it almost always happens.

To fix it, just get a CD cleaner and clean the Disc out, and make him lay the 360 down. Vertical is not a good way to have it, as you can plainly see.

yea for some reason the 360 eats your discs .... if you move the console with the game inside it there will be a ring around your disc ... and no there isnt a fix just DONT MOVE THAT CONSOLE!

He had it Vertical for a while but recently he has had it Horizontally but that still scratches the disc because when he opened the Disc scratches against the plastic Disc holder of the X360.

Moving the 360 will eat it. Same happened to my GHII after my 360 fell. But a nearby store fixed it for ten bucks.

Note: My 360 is always vertical but only killed the disc when it fell. None of my disc are scratched but the one GH and only when it fell. And it was fixed in 5 minutes and is working like a NY whorehouse at New Years Eve.
