Official clarification of "localized content"

I always have a tiny bit of panic before we release new information because there are always so many people looking at it that mis-information spreads wicked fast. When we say that the European release of Rock Band will have localized content it DOES NOT mean that we are stripping out our main songs and replacing them with European songs. It means Europe will be getting extra songs on their disc of content localized to their language so they can have a little extra fun if they feel so inclined.

IN SUMMATION- We aren't cutting out all the songs we have announced to replace them with Italian rock hits of the 80's or whatever else people were thinking. Though now that you mention it... ;)

Thanks Sean for make it clear.. it had me worried when i first read the Leipzig reports and it didn't help matters when Euro sites were not making it clear that the Set list would still be the same and the localisation was bonus even sites like 1up IGN and Gamespot made it seem like the list was being replaced.. well at least that's a weight of my mind.. just have to wait for the launch some time in 08.. now i'm curious as to what the UK localisation will be.. :)

So what you are saying is that the German release of Rock Band won't consist entirely of David Hasselhoff tracks?

You guys are probably saving those songs for Hasselhoff Hero anyway.

We're not exactly Europe.. but please don't put any Australian or New Zealand content on our discs, anyway. We suck. I really don't want to go online and find 10s of people playing Dave Dobynn :)

the way i read it made it seem like the euro version would have the 40 songs, plus localized content all on disc, with more to come as DLC.

does that mean the US version would have the 40 songs, plus US localized content (bonus songs) on disc?
