No this isn't one of those, I'm tired of this feature or that. My apartment was broken into and of the items lifted were my 360 with Rock Band still inside. We had already suffered heartbreak with this game. Faulty drumpads, which we managed to fix. Two stratocasters, first sent in and second the cord was mysteriously cut, kick pedal kicked in half as most are. Soon what was a great party game is now nothing more than the single remaining Xplorer. I will be able to purchase a new 360 soon. But with my roommates and I splitting to separate residences...I just don't know if we'll be able to rock again. Not unless one of us shells out the entire price. Enjoy rocking out guys! I hope to return one day.

You're not supposed to post stuff like that on this message board.
Sorry to hear about that, must be rough. Wish I could help out but I kind of tight financially myself right now.
If they just stole the disk then you may be able to make some money selling the guitar, drums and stuff to put into getting a new X-Box.

Yah, shouldn't your insurance take care of all of that? And if you don't have renters insurance then well... guess you learned your lesson about getting it.

Definitely get renter's insurance. I have a $15,000 policy (a little excessive but the little things add up.) and it only costs about $120/year.
It's worth it for the piece of mind especially since the fire alarm constantly goes off cause people are stupid. They let things sit and forget them and walk away or fall asleep (at 3 in the frickin morning)
/rant about stupid people in my apartment

My friend got robbed a while back, they took a bunch of stuff including his 360. What my friend did was get on xbox.com using his LIVE ID and wait for the xbox to sign in, then, he watched as they changed his gamertag and deleted his friends list... then the jerk added his friend, so using the send message on xbox.com he sent an message to the friend and told him to call him at a provied number right away and put in the phone number to the cop that was investigating the robbery, sure enough, the dude called, the cop asked who he was looking for and pretended it was a wrong number. Using the info, the found the 2 guys and got all his stuff back, including his passport that was in a full dumpster at 7-11..

Also, you can just buy the game alone and use your guitar and sing with the headset, then buy the other parts as you get money. You can also check craigslist, people are always selling rockband bundles there.

What's also kinda scary about someone stealing your xbox is that your cc information is still in there and microsoft makes it a big hassle just to take that information out.

Thats awesome. Do you know what your friend said in the message he sent to the guy over xbox.com that was persuasive enough that he actually made the call? I know if I got a random message that included a phone number I would definitely be wary. Just curious :)

Oooh I think I see what your friend did... He went on xbox.com and signed into his own account even though that guy changed his gamertag. Then after that thief added his own friend to his list, your friend was able to impersonate himself as that thief by sending a message to that guy's friend with a message probably like.. "hey call me at this number..." And that's how the cops got the thief's name. :D Shmart.

Wow that sucks, I got my xbox 1 stolen about 2 years ago. I know who did it too but we had no proof and cops wouldn't do anything other than asking us if we had home owners insurance!
But yea that taught us a lesson to always lock up the house no matter where you live!

Yea, I'm getting the insurance back but it will only cover the game. It's just a hassle and not sure if my friends will want to play again. That is awesome using the gamer tag against him. I moved my tag over to a buddy's box though, I feared they'd just hop on and start buying Microsoft points. I mean obviously they have no concern for the situation of others, so why would they not just go ahead and spend all my money? This game is worth it, but it's all on getting the money for the instruments again. It just seems were plagued with curses on this game. Every time something is fixed, another thing goes wrong.
