Did "Rockaway Beach" change into "Blitzkrieg Bop"? One of the IGN announcements says that it is Blitzkrieg, but the Rockband Songlist still lists Rockaway. Which is right?

I'm convinced that this is an error on the part of IGN at the moment. I'm sure Rockaway Beach is still in there and not Blitzkrieg Bop.

It has to be an error on their part, I don't think they would have two Ramones songs in the game, and Rockaway Beach is already confirmed.

It's Rockaway Beach, that was an error. Unless they're both in the game. There's even a screenshot of someone playing Rockaway Beach.

Wow. That's very surprising. Nice find!

It would seem very strange to have Rockaway Beach on this site as a listed song in the game if it weren't though (especially with that screenshot on IGN). Which leads me to believe that both will be in the game. Maybe Blitzkrieg Bop is a bonus track? Maybe it will be downloadable? I still don't take it as official that RB has been replaced with BB necessarily. I see this as pointing to both songs being in the game in some form.

Press release now says BB, which is probably why this is being reported now. I'd consider this song replaced.

Yeah, I figured they'd still offer both in the game in some form. This is why DLC is so great! When a song is replaced, it doesn't have to go away forever.

You are correct sir, they even updated the song list on the Rockband official web site now, and indeed it is "Blitzkrieg Bop" instead of "Rockaway Beach".

I wonder why they did it?

It is in the official songlist on Rockband.com. I'm glad, BB is going to be a lot more fun to play and sing.

Wow, this makes me happy... Because Rockaway Beach was the only song I didn't like from the setlist, and BB is much more tolerable. Keep up the good work Harmonix! You sure know what your fans want!

This is Great, Although I liked Rockaway Beach as well, but if thats in the DLC its a win win Situation for me
