ok.. I'm ready to post my post..... If any developers read this.. Please try and look thru the anger to find the meaning of what I'm talking about.

I don’t game creators. You guys have some major issues. How can you have a song by THE WHO….and then choose “Won’t get fooled again” Are you kidding me. When you think of “The Who” if you know ANYTHING about music. You think of “BABA O’RILEY”. Even Helen Keller who is blind, deaf, and mute knows that. Not “Won’t get fooled again” Also. The Clash….. What is the first song that comes into mind when thinking of “THE CLASH”…..? “ROCK THE CASBAH”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why would you not put those two songs in the game? Why would you get the bands that play them. Then use other songs. WHY????? I would have been on cloud 9 if I could have played BABA O’Riley. Are you kidding me? Playing Rock the Casbah. OMG…… Mind blowing. But no…. we get “Won’t get fooled again.”

Honestly... if your going to make a MUSIC video game. Before you even think about making it. Take a damn poll from music fans outside of your company. Why do you choose the songs? Let us who will be BUYING the game. Choose the songs. I know my post won’t help anything, and will probably be labeled as Trolling or some other stupid forum word. I said my piece. I still can’t believe you would put a song by “THE WHO “and not have it be “BABA O’Riley” it’s mind blowing. I can’t understand it.

To answer you I dont think of Rock the Casbah when i think about the clash, nor do i think first of Baba O'Reilly when i think about the Who. Personally, ya know, for me, i think of Complete Control and You Better You Bet respectively :cool:

When most people think of The Who, they think of "Won't Get Fooled Again" not "Baba O'Riley" and if you knew anything you'd already know that "Baba O'Riley" will be available as DLC.

As for The Clash, "Rock The Casbah", while a great song, was a sell-out to gain commercial success in America. It is in no way representative of their music. The best one I can think of is "I Fought The Law", which would have been great, but they could have done a lot worse than "Should I Stay Or Should I Go?". Regardless, the inclusion of THe Clash on the initial list gets my hopes up that more will be coming soon as DLC (maybe even "Rock The Casbah", even though I would MUCH prefer "London Calling")

To be honest, the TC is ****.

Wont get Fooled Again is probably the best song they could have picked for the game, let alone the who. Rock the Casbah is not very instrument driven, but Should I Stay or SHould I go is. And its a great song.

I understand your complaint if the song doesnt really make sense because there is barley anything there instrument-wise (looks at Creep) but Should I stay or Should I Go and WGFA are both popular and are great for the instruments.

EDIT: London Calling is a classic, but think how effing boring that would have been.

The creator of this topic must be very unfamiliar with how Harmonix has been known to do their track lists in the past. They put some big hits in the games, some awesome, lesser-known songs by popular artists, and then some awesome unknown songs by indie or unknown artists. It's their style to choose better, less-known songs by great artists from time to time and they have a pretty good idea of how each song will balance in the game.

And DLC really does make this entire topic moot. Pointless, rude, hate-filled topics like these need to be locked.

Besides, you're wrong about Baba O'Riley. My Generation was stuck in my head years before I'd even heard of Baba O'Riley.

Baba O'Riley is only the fourth-best song on Who's Next anyways (behind Behind Blue Eyes, Won't Get Fooled Again, and Bargain, respectively.) and WGFA fits the game much better.
