I love it when the crowd sings, I wish they would on the DLC.

Wow, there were a couple I would have selected, but crowd sing alongs is the one I want most.

Some decent options, but I agree with the crowd sing-a-longs.

I don't understand why crowd singalongs aren't part of the DLC packs already. Is it that hard to get some people around the office to record some singing, throw some effects on it and put it in?

I chose the New Clothing Pack DLC, but I agree with the crowd sing-a-longs in the DLC. Like maskofskin said, adding that wouldn't be too hard.

It was a hard choice seeing as I'd love more outfits (even though different faces/hair might be more useful or at least removable hats!!!) I voted for a bonus track, even though crowd sing-a-longs are one of the best parts of the game, even if it is so small.

I personally would really like to see a free song every 6 weeks, was just thinking about it this morning :)

I vote for other. I would like to see custom drum sounds in the fill sections for every song that sound like the actual drum sounds in the song.

I would love to see more crowd singalongs. I think they don't do it to keep filesize down though. It seems like it is an additional 5th track that only kicks in when you are doing well. Also I wouldn't mind seeing new static graphic load screens with the bandmembers. I think they already include new trivia with the packs but i am not sure. It seems i am always reading something i haven't seen before that is specific to the band I am playing.

The more songs the better, one free song every so often would be pretty cool.

I'm thinking there's more to it than that.

If I could, I'd vote for both clothing and venues. Since I can't, I went with venues.

Just a quick comment on clothing DLC (and I'm about to explain this very poorly):

The same way that users are required to have the same DLC in order to play DLC together online, clothing packs would create havoc for online play, since every player would need the same clothing packs in order to play with one another (right now that check takes place on the song list... but clothing shows up as soon as you join matchmaking).

Hopefully that makes sense!

I would take all of those things by the way :D

I want the charactor creator in general patched so I can put tattoos wherever I want and for hats and so on,

but of the ones there, definitely singalongs

Yes as well as the free song they have given us went over (like a fart in church), Im sure they are just dying to do that again. We were gifted a funny, quirky little song as a freebie for April Fools, and the fools here went ballistic. Pretty sure "we" blew our chances of more freebie fun songs.

BTW I voted crowd singalongs, thats the only thing I really, really miss when I play DLC, as I think thats one of the really beautiful and engaging parts of the disc songs.

Haha, nah. It wasn't really that bad IMO. The reception on other sites was overwhelmingly positive, as well! Not that we're going to make it a habit, but it's definitely not something that the community has blown its chances over receiving in the future.

I voted for crowd sing-alongs too. It was the first thing that grabbed me when I got the game. It really adds to the whole live show feeling. I'm disappointed its not done for DLC, but I sorta understand. Having to do weekly DLC probably keeps the schedule tight as it is. Adding in extra effects like that may not be possible with the given time.

This is a pretty cool poll....I voted for more trivia on loading screens, I love em. I still see new ones every once in a while and every time I stop talking to whoever I'm talking to and focus on the screen very intently. It's fun stuff!

I saw someone suggest this on another thread way back- could you release clothing packs simultaneously with a patch that allows users to see other folks' downloaded clothing even if they don't have it? Just a question, as that's something I'd love to see. You could also possibly allow people to create 2 versions of a character- an "online version" which isn't allowed to use DL'ed clothing, as well as a "local version" that could have DLC clothing. Crazy suggestions, I know. Feel free to call me a maniac...

Hmm, I think I'd like some new venues. At least for DLC... it gets a little redundant always playing in Japan.

We dont need new ones, theres tons of them we hardly ever see. What we need is a venue select option so we can choose which of the many to play in among the fantastically crafted, and tragically underutilized venues that already exist.

This has worked before- WoW comes to mind, when they added new races with the expansion, the models were included in a patch so that other players could see them.

Right... that was an expansion. How much was that? (I don't play WoW).

Would you be willing to pay that much for a RB expansion to function in the same way?

Ya'll want to keep this game fresh so people keep playing. The more people continue to play, the more potential sales for DLC. Why can't extra clothes/character customization be FREE? And included as part of some (FREE) update? Since Microsoft doesn't seem to want anything released free because of their nickel-and-dime "business model." (ie. Gears of War not being able to release maps for free, charging for gamer pics, purposely not including things in the game to sell them as DLC ie Bad Company.)

Aren't the graphic artists there anywhere? If they're on a salary, they wouldn't be payed more to do it. I'm trying to think as to why this MUST be bought. Regardless, doesn't Harmonix have a huge budget now?

This is in response to this thread, as well as this one:
http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43497 Poss. Cloth DLC?
I don't get why the people that post here are the first ones to imply that stuff like this has to be payed for. I just can't believe that most of the responses for clothing DLC (and other things) are "I would love to buy some clothing!" and discussions for how to deal with viewability of gamers online who won't buy them instead of why something like this should be charged for. I've even seen threads where people were saying "I'd totally pay for an update!" "It would be epic winz if I were forced to pay 5 dollars for an update that fixes a couple glitches and typos!" That's ridiculous. These things that are being charged for on the marketplace (specifically maps), if they were on the PC, would be free.

I really don't expect HMX to be/do any different than what all the other companies are doing right now. I don't know what HMX intends to do, but I hope every little addition isn't charged for.

While I would like all of them, I voted for new venues.

There is only so much you can take of Tokyo. I want some other venues to play all of my DLC songs in. :)

I don't understand the obsession with the crowd sing along, I don't see that as too important, personally.

I voted new trivia.

It's interesting. Sparked some conversations while playing(well not during;))

I chose "crowd sing-alongs". I love that in the ingame songs, and wish it was in the DLC as well.

My girlfriend may have voted for "more clothing to download". She dislikes most of the in-game female clothing, and would probably enjoy a better variety. But she likes the crowd too!

BTW I believe that new Trivia is already included with some of the DLC. I'm sure that I get band-specific trivia for some bands that only exist as DLC in the game. But maybe that's my addled brain getting confused....
