alright, lets make a list of all the people that quit just because they are losing. give them the benefit of the doubt if they're ahead or quit quickly. PS3 can make their own:

there's not really a need to make a list. if you give the person negative feedback on xbox live, you won't get matched up with them again. there's even a choice on the "reason" menu for "quit game early".
quitters suck.

I personally think we should make a thread that lists all the people that make threads like this :). Seriously though, how would this help? It's not like we can see who we're playing before you join, you get random people, knowing they quit does you no good.

I think someone had and idea like this. I don't remember what the outcome was. I think they list would grow extremely large and like someone stated it wont really help anyone once because its random people.

Lie.
I played some jerk on XBL, I chose to ignore the idiot, and then on my next match, I get paired with him! System is broken.

Lies. I can't tell you how many times I've done that to a quitter, only to be matched up with them again. Sometimes immediately after avoiding them.

When you avoid a player the only thing it does is lower the possibility of you getting match up with them again. There is still a chance you will get matched up with them. And with rock band, there are very few people playing ranked matches, so the chances are even greater. It only makes sense, the lower the populations the greater the chance of seeing someone again.
The system is not perfect but it is not broken either!

That's true. I'm actually beginning to recognize people on expert ranked matches. And sometimes it will pair me up with the same guy twice in a row.
It's just SOOO frustrating when I avoid someone for quitting and get matched up with them in the next match, just to have them quit again.
Just as frustrating are people who DON'T PLAY.
I was in a match and the song was Gimme Shelter. During the intro the other guy missed a bunch of notes. I hadn't missed any, so the dude just stopped playing. He didn't quit the match, but he wasn't PLAYING the song anymore.
It was a hollow victory. : (

These threads kind of pop up every few days. While I understand your frustration, a blacklist will not really help the problem.
