DLC Idea

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but if HMX keeps their promise and puts out thousands of songs, it's going to be a ***** to scroll down that DLC menu to find what you want. so for this magnitude of content, do you think we should have some sort of special alphabetized/genre sort of interface?

That would be awesome, because if the DLC is the magnitude that HmX says it's gonna be.. We'll be taking awhile to get through those lists on the marketplace.

Hopefully it uses some sort of iTunes-ish in game market. I think PS3 allows that but I'm not sure if they could pull it of on 360

what im wondering is at what point do they cut off DLC for rock band and force us to buy RB2?:cool:

i dont think i would mind one RB forever and just have them feed us new songs through DLC, but yeah, searching would be ridiculous, especially as a newcomer.

I always figured they'd have a search option and categorize the songs by band and the bands by alphabet and such

I think rock band is gonna be the only one of its kind. Unless they just make a new disc with songs and use the same hardware.

They did say that they didn't get to implement all the ideas they wanted into Rock Band.. so hopefully when RB2 turns up with Band vs Band (strong guess it's not in this), a fifth drumpad and doublebass... I just hope it allows us to use the same songs we spent all that cashola on in the first place.. even if they are stunted

I can't see them releasing a whole set of new hardware. Thats just theft. I would imagine they create add ons but not a whole new set.
