View Full Version : Rock Band Wii Australia?

I just read that Rock Band was coming out in Australia May 28 for 360, PS3, and WII. I was wondering if there was any truth to this, because I would not think it would be released for wii in Australia before America.

link us to where you read it and we'll let you know, but being that we've yet to see an official worldwide release date and we've enever heard any timeframe at all for the wii version, chances are slim

Although Rock Band is scheduled to be released for Wii, it is very unlikely that they would release it in Australia first. Look for it in America first, then out of the nation after that. But, as for the other two consoles it is possible and I could see that happening.

I wouldn't belive that...

Wikipedia can be edited by anyone to say anything...

But yeah, I wouldn't trust that as a release date. I doubt the other places will get a Wii version before America. As jerkish as that sounds, its true for this type of game.

But hope for the others soon.

Plus, as much as I love my Wii, I would get it for the 360, I just can't see the wii version being as good.

I have to agree with the other posters that it's not likely to be released for the Wii prior to being released on the PS3 or 360 first.

If you do decide to go with a PS3 or a 360 be sure to research both systems first prior to buying. The 360 has some advantages when it comes to RB but the PS3 is non-region specific which would be a big plus considering you're in Australia.

They'll release it in Japan, then United States, then Europe, and last Australia. That's how everything is always, I hate to say.

That's how it is when the game is made in Japan. An American made game seldom debuts anywhere other than the US first, if ever.
