Need Quick Solution To Drum Pedal

Alright, my drum pedal has snapped, but not where everyone's usually does. It broke off right where it connects to the base of the whole pedal. So the whole "Just get a piece of wood and drill that ***** on there!" plan wont work. Anyone have any solution to my problem besides sending it back? =P
