Heh, this has been on my mind for a while, and I noticed that HMX has snuck a few artist-related referenced in their games.

In the GH2 'Guitar Center' on the description for the Coffin guitar it makes a reference to the Misfits, saying "This guitar is creepy, but cool, in a Misfits sort of way."

Maybe a hint that we might get to see them in a future project, maybe even RB?

And on the RB flash page, when you click on the details for the mic instrument, it makes a reference to Freddie Mercury from Queen.

Queen seems very likely for RB, especially with that reference.

Anyone else find any interesting things in GHI, II, or even the RB site?

Which Queen song do you think would be best for this game, that uses all 4 parts well?

I can't specifically pick one for this game, but they have a lot to choose from.

"Hammer To Fall" would be great. As would:
"Scandal"
"I Want It All"
"The Show Must Go On"
"The Miracle"
and
"Death On Two Legs"

The only thing about having original master tracks of the Misfits songs, is that they weren't recorded with the best equipment, and sound ok at best. The songs are great, it's just the recording equipment, as I love the Misfits.

Anyway, there are some very good Misfits tribute albums out there, and my favorite cover would have to be London Dungeon by Prong. That would be the best way to put Misfits into the game, a very good cover song.

I'd like to see a Graves era song, since Danzig already got his spotlight in GH2, and the audio quality is a bit better in most of the new ressurected Misfits' songs.

But Danzig-era Misfits would be awesome too.

Hey man, I agree with you! Graves has an excellent voice, and the American Psycho album has some incredible songs on it. I'd vote for Dig Up Her Bones, myself.

It wasn't a cover. Queen was asked by the director to provide the soundtrack and they agreed. It's an original tune by them.

I'm hoping for "The Show Must Go On" personally, THE most powerful song the band ever produced
