Who else would agree with me on a Gh3/RockBand song switch on this?

Looking throughout the already SPOT ON setlist of Rock Band, (which I damned well prefer over Guitar Hero 3's.) There's just ONE thing I'd change, and I'd love to get other people's views on it.

I want Rock Band to hand "Don't Fear the Reaper" over in place for "Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll."

"Cities..." is better IMO.

Any opinions would be great.

First reason being I want to play bass and sing at the same time, there'd better be a way to turn that part off.

Exactly what I was gonna say. If your buying the game for one song, then I would consider just grab two pens or something and air drum to it. Or try to do customs on ps2 for guitar. I have no idea how to do it. Just save your money.

I'm happy that both GHIII and RB have BOC songs. CoFwRaR is an awesome song.


And I hope they add DLC later on for some Astronomy.

Why? The game is going to be loads of fun no matter what song you're playing.. There may be some songs on there that you think you don't like, or have never heard of, and then you get a chance to play them and come away surprised.. Sure, it would be nice to have songs you like, but not everyone likes the same things, so it'd be hard to find songs everyone likes.

* We've seen that it's entirely possible that songs can end up in both GH3 and Rock Band. (5 songs minimum confirmed so far)

* We've seen that once an artist/band is on board, it's possible to get other songs signed from them as downloads or other expansion content. (Ramones, The Who, etc)


I think everyone is still freaking out in a sort of song shortage panic, created by the lack of expandability in GH1 and GH2. The limited setlists and lack of expansion for these two has worked people into a frenzy to petition for this song and that because each track was precious real estate.

With the much vaunted weekly updates and album downloads, there's more of a promise for good songs to see the light of day, and less cause to freak out if "song X" doesn't make the retail disc.

No freaking way! DFTR is such an epic song, losing it would be a terrible thing! While GH3 has a few songs I'd like to play, including COFWRAR, I'd much rather have DFTR for my band to rock out to! :cool:

I was exagerating, I love tons of the songs so far and like the rest. I'm just tired of the "I dont like song [a] so take it out and replace it with my favorite song [b] "attitude alot of people have.

I wouldn't mind having TD's The Metal in rock band, but I dont think GH3 has anything else I really want. Cult of Personality wouldnt be bad either. But overall the RB set list is kickin ass.
