Is the one i want, even has a slot for the 360 controller.

I'd pay some good dough for that thing, do you think it's a HMX peripheral or just something cooked up for the convention?

It's a HMX peripheral. If you go to the RB site and go to instruments> mic, it says at the bottom in the specs of the mic that a microphone stand is also gonna be available.:D I agree though, that mic stand is awesome!

I had not noticed that bit of info...:o was it there all along or is it part of the update they made on the site?

that's pretty cool that it has a spot for the controller, but i already have a mic stand from my band days, so i'm set. i'm also thinking about not getting the RB mic and instead getting a really nice quality usb mic with a long cable. then i could also use it to record stuff on my computer. also, if they only release the special edition for 360 with the wired guitar, i'd have to buy the wireless one seperatly anyways, so then i would just end up getting the game with the drums (hopefully they have a package deal for that, and hopefully they really will have a wireless guitar).

This is great and all, but by saying, "Microphone Stand Also Available," it implies that it's an accessory.

The guitar also says Wired and Wireless available.

it also looks like it's designed so people playing guitar or drums will be albe to use it. It would be difficult to sing with a straight up and down mic stand, but this stand's design makes it easier

Looking at the song list, it looks like they need to feed the 60's a bit. Its looking a bit underappreciated.
