What is your favorite effects pedal?

I love using a wah pedal with phaser distortion. Can't beat that, in my book. Nothing like a Boss stomp box with a Cry Baby. Any thoughts or opinions out there from any of you real life guitarists out there? Any preffered brands?

it depends. I like Danelectro distortion pedals, Boss pitch shifters and my chorus or 'depth' pedals vary. Yeah, my pedal board is pretty expensive.

More important, what kind of guitars.

I love Fender Jag-Stangs. I have an original one for '97 and a re-issue from '05 I changed the pickups to P-90's.

I'm always looking to buy more. But now they are collectibles and cost a lot.

Unforunately, college takes all my guitar money. All i have is an Ibanez starter guitar and a B.C. Rich Warlock. I love the warlock, but no whammy bar :(

I'm new to this habit, but currently i'm using a Digitech RP150. It's pretty nice, but still don't know how to use everything efficiently yet.

A guy I jam with has a Boss pedal that he doesn't want so i'm going to see if I can borrow it for a while to check it out.

I'm trying to get this guy to sell me his effects board. It was like a $400 board and he mentioned $150 to me once as a fair sell price to him. He isn't sure if he wants to give up guitar yet, but I'm circling like a buzzard for that thing...

I got a 535Q Crybaby. Loves it. But my last purchase was a BBE Boosta Grande. Nice! Gives me the "Tubes are Screaming" overdrive when I am at lower levels... And makes for a great lead boost when I'm already at 11.

That would be cool. I just added up all the crap on my board, including the board itself (SKB) I figure it's about $1200. Never realized how much I had. That's what I get for being the last minute fill in for people. The pay is good but you need a lot of different sounds. Could be playing metal one day and country the next.

Suprisingly, I always liked the DF-7 Distortion Factory pedal. It's just a basic distortion pedal, but still amazing. I can get the Perfect AC/DC, Metallica, GnR, anything out it.

Also, the Slash edition Wah pedal is nice to play some Velvet Revolver and GnR on.
