My DLC Thoughts

Personally if you ask me I like the sound of all the songs this week. Sure Black Tide is a someone lesser known band, I listened to them just now and they sound good. Serj Tankian, 2 words umm F*** yeah. And Paramore, just something that sounds good and all in a fun "party" song.

Tomorrow after I download I'll repost here with my final view on it.

Does it really matter that they are a master? rush wasnt a master and it was great, i'd have no problem with anyone covering these songs to sound less annoying then the actual bands (save for maybe the system guy....who still whines)

I have never heard of any of the 3 bands, but i went and looked them up, and heard the tracks.........and............hummm, i dont know till i download them........I am looking forward to it!

This is a great week for content. The songs are cheap and I can't imagine them NOT being fun as hell to play.

Yeah ok, Black Tide and Serj aren't exactly on my listening rotation but neither is most of the stuff I love to play in Rock Band.

Like I said, let the flames begin. Anyways really there is only one song I can't stand and that is Dead on Arrival. I mean I even enjoy that crappy Cherry Bomb song, not to mention Last Train to Clarksville. But stuff like this is why Rock Band is such a great game. The game has so much diversity in the DLC that you could easily find something you enjoy from it and play it.

Funny facts, my band is pretty much hardcore Christian meaning I'll never play any song from this week but crushcrushcrush.

Secondly you learn to enjoy everything when you play Why Do Love Me? four times in an hour.

1) Most new bands suck
2) I would rather play any cover Black Sabbath than this weeks dlc
3) I would not waste the space on my Xbox360 if these songs were free

Serj Tankian is the most intelligent musician writing and preforming today. My wishes have been answered, Serj Tankian is now on Rock Band!

Stop the whining and be grateful HMX gives us new content every week. You know your going to download it anyway. :D

It's actually a good week.

Both Serj and Paramore are in heavy rotation on alt rock stations right now. While I would have preferred SOAD, Serj solo material is greatly appreciated.

This should appeal to a wide group of people including myself.
