Just some more clips of Rock Band in action, on a Rock Band bus no less! Includes clips of Jet, Radio Head, and Rush.

They aren't anything special, but hey videos that haven't been seen are always worth one look.
I do like their review of the "free-play" sections though, it makes guitar sound like a lot of fun.
"One of the cooler elements of Rock Band, besides the whole kicking-ass and drumming along to the Ramones, is that all of the songs have these solo sections where you can, no matter what instrument you're playing, break loose and wail. On drums this translates to lots of painful drum rolls, but on guitar the freeplay sections actually let you feel like you're really playing a guitar, for a second or two. The voice bit just allows you to scream, go death metal, or, my favorite, beatbox for a few seconds."
They also posted some pictures from the bus. Uh can I have a Rock Band hat please!?!

The drummer in the 2nd video bugged me greatly.
I'm still waiting for a video of someone beltin away at the drums, no more of this awkward, hesitant drumming we keep seeing.

I think they are hesitant because they are afraid they might break the drums. Think about it, would you want to be the guy who broke the drum controller? Imagine doing that and then having to face the guy that was next in line to play!!!

Hah, I'm glad I'm not the only one who just cared about the hat. Who cares about another gameplay video, sell us the hats god damn it! O.O

lol good point. I thought Alex or Sean said they were extremely durable and can take a beating.
But I guess that makes sense. It's company property, you're in public, you're new to the game, etc. I can understand the hesitance then.

it's obviously a restriction that EA imposed on the media. PAX sounded more open so we'll probably see longer clips from that event.

Unfortunately, Sean said in another thread that no video allowed during PAX, only pictures.

Yea, I think that's why, I believe it's Hmxleo, that will be making a "photo blog". If video were allowed, you'd think they'd just do that.

wow that's a bummer. if i was there playing, id respect their rules, but it sounded like this place is an open area. the blog said that they had a huge crowd and the show wasnt even open yet. that leads me to believe that it would be difficult to enforce such a rule.
