So...this PAX thing...

I think the doors open in about...five hours or so. Anyone here on this forum going to be there? I know you'll be headed right to our favorite developer's booth to check out a certain game involving four player rocking...now, the real question is...how quickly will you report your findings here? You can't just let us twist in the wind...I don't care how you do it...steal someone's iPhone, hack a lobby computer, or figure out how to get a carrier pigeon to maek poast, just...somhow, update us as soon as you possibly can with a full report of the game.

And we'll also need a very in-depth analysis of any new features and stuff that we've not heard/seen before...

so doors open at 2:00 Pacific time...I expect an update by 2:05...:D

I seriously wouldn't expect any new song announcements right now.... they gotta save something... I mean, we are a full three months from launch.

However, I would definently LOVE to see something along the lines of official pricing.

I don't care if we're all 90% sure it's gonna be $199.... I wanna know for sure...

I think they are pretty much finished, they are just putting the polish on it. I think their main focus now is DLC so they will have plenty to choose from. They don't want to drop the ball like RO on GH2

But you can get that other game, beat it in 2 days, and then have all your time needed for Rock Band since there is a lot more replay value :)

I can wait patiently for some news, even if it's not until Monday.

Besides, anything available for use on the game at PAX will be stuff we already know about, and if not, then those who play will have to sign an agreement if it's stuff that's unannounced.

I would expect only "real" announcements made by HMX, which probably won't be until towards the end of the event.

Expect people to come on here and say how great the game is.
Don't expect people to come on here and tell you the release date and/or pricing.

These game shows and trade shows always seem to result in some really stellar news annoucements.

Therefore, to capitalize on this, I am forming Apples' Gaming and Rockband Expo. It will be a weekly event starting next week after PAX. Free punch and pie to all exhibits demonstrating 4 player cooperative rocker games. (Although maybe I'd get further with Jack Daniels) :) :) ;)

Plenty of random comments and dev blogs have all indicated that they're going to be at least showing off stuff at PAX that we've not seen before, whether we know of said 'stuff' yet or not remains ot be seen. They haven't said whether it'll just be part of the public demo or if they plan to do it at some specific point during the show.

I'm not really expecting song announcement either, since there are only 14 spots left now (assuming they're sticking w/ the 40 lisenced songs). Maybe some DLC announcement though...that'd be cool. But yah, really hoping for release/price/bundle info...and maybe some stuff about the online portion...

Also, I doubt we'll be getting much info. Probably stuff we already knew but more info about it. I'm guessing official confirmation of Nevermind and maybe another DLC album and a little bit more info on how the modes will work

gamespot says they will be broadcasting live from PAX starting at 4pm pacific. i believe that is 7pm eastern. anyways, on the agenda for day 1 is rock band :)
