Yea exactly, and even if you get banned, it probably wont be permanent. Someone will hopefully put this up on youtube at some point, and I think those insider videos become open to everyone after some time.

Looking at DanT's photos from PAX, their mic stand doesn't hold the controller, it is just hanging there...I'm surprised it can just hang like that.

Well actually from the 2nd picture it looks like it is held in place. So I'm not exactly sure...


I think it is held in place. if you think about how the controller is made, the microphone port is on the bottom of the controller. so if the controller was hanging by the wire of the mic, the controller would hang upside-down. But as you can see in the pics, it is rightside-up. There must be something holding it up.

Okay this pic pretty much proves that the stand holds the controller. Look at the image and read my caption below.

If you look at the end of the stand, you'll see a thin wire coming out of the "pipe" thing, follow that wire and it will lead into the bottom of the XB360 controller, which is being held up by the mic stand. Awesome, I hope I can buy this stand after the release!

Just downloaded the HD version of it. It looks GREAT. Nice little 30-40 second nuggets of songs folks already mentioned. The best part is seeing closeups of all the peripherals while they're playing. I can't wait to play the Who song, and eventually download the rest of that album. It looked and sounded...just sooooo right for a game like this. The wait for this game is going to be crazy. Maybe since you have 2 streams on both sides, they wanted to make you be able to differenciate between them easier.

I would guess with about 96% certainty, That they went and bought that mic stand at a music store and modified it hold a controller. I built a full size wooden Flying V GH controller. I'm sure rigging a mount for a controller wouldn't take a team of engineering ninjas to come up with. Hell, Velcro would suffice.

I think the reason why they have free form fills is for one creativity, if you want to play your own stuff you can. At concerts drummers hardly ever play exactly like the recorded song anyway. And 2nd, in the free-form section if you know the actuall fill that's in the song, you have the option to play that fill.
